Floyd County High School closed out a difficult football season with a 61-14 pasting of Auburn Friday night, ending 2011 with a 3-7 overall record and 2-3 in district play. Floyd cross country track teams headed for state meet
Both the girls and boys cross-country track teams at Floyd County High School qualified for the state meet Wednesday at the regional finals near Hillsville.
