Last week, we saw threats of rain for several days.  This week looks mostly dry.

Tuesday’s forecast from the National Weather Service shows partly cloudy conditions with a high temperature of about 80, a 10 percent chance of precipitation and humidity in the 60s.

Overnight lows cooler than the heat stretch of July with temperatures in the low 60s.

Same for Thursday.  On Friday, the chance of rain goes up only to 20 percent and the temperature says pretty much the same.

The weekend cools slightly with lows in the 70s.

Of course, that could change, as weather forecasts often do and the weather service says there are still “chances of scattered showers” this week widespread rain but the chances of rain were 20 percent or less when this was written.  The 20 percent chance was part of the forecast through Monday, August 7, of next week.

Enjoy it while you can.
