R.I.P. Benny Parsons

Sad news this morning. Benny Parsons, former NASCAR drive and champion and an announcer for the race series on television, died Tuesday from complications from treatment for lung cancer. In a sport dominated by agressiveness and big egos, Parsons was a nice guy, a genial soul who brought civility to the rough and tumble world of NASCAR racing. He will be missed.
