Our generator slugs on, running nonstop for more than 10 hours now as AEP struggles with power outages in Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Riner, Pilot and Floyd. When the power went out last night at 9:37, AEP festimated they would have it restored by midnight. Midnight came and went and now, eight hours later, the new estimate is by 11 tonight. AEP probably learned the art of lying from airlines. This will be the longest test of our generator since we installed it two years ago. Hopefully, it is up to the task.
