Hark! What ice beyond yon window shines!

  1. Thank Goodness I live in Southern California on the coast. We saw more frost damage to the Avacodo and Citrus Groves on the inland I-15 corridor yesterday,on our way home from Palm Springs, then we have seen in the 41 years since our departures from ice storms of Connecticut.

    Keep warm! MWB

  2. Your ice storm is certainly beautiful even though dangerous to those poor folks without power. We had a very similar ice storm on January 15 but did not lose too many power lines because our October Surprise snow storm had wiped out a lot of tree limbs. The temperature has not yet risen above freezing although we had enough wind after about a week to clean off most of the power lines and smaller branches on trees. Now Western NY near Niagara Falls is at 1.8 degrees and we’re hoping to get up to freezing (maybe) in about a week or so. Brrr! Hope your temperatures rise before then.
I hope my ice photos turn out as ‘cool’ as yours.
