Shake, rattle and roll

Did you feel a bump in the night? A 2.6 earthquake -- mild by most standards -- struck Roanoke this morning, rattling windows and sparking calls to 911.

Apparently, the epicenter was in Cave Spring.

Let's see. A tornado struck last week. Now an earthquake. As my granddaddy used to say, "every once in a while, the guy upstairs wants to remind us that he's still the boss."
