Lady Buffs extend unbeaten streak with 85-33 win over Giles

Floyd County High School’s Lady Buffaloes extended their unbeaten streak to 17 games Tuesday night with an 85-33 thumping of Giles County in Pearisburg Tuesday night.

A dozen Lady Buffs scored in the game, led by Amanda Hollandsworth with 14 points and Regan Wiseman’s 10.

Floyd County jumped out to a 26-6- lead in the first quarter, extended it to 47-12 at the half, outscored Giles 23-12 in the third and 15-9 in the fourth.

The JV girls also won.

The boys face Giles Wednesday night in a home game and the girls go against Glenvar on Thursday night.
