Good crowd, good music, good food and a good time marked the Fourth Annual Chantilly Farm Bluegrass and BBQ Festival Saturday.
From the opening music of The Blackberries at 11 a.m. and Gravel Road at noon through the late night hours with Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, the crowd estimated to be the largest in the event’s existence enjoyed a lot of bluegrass along with barbeque and companionship for a festival that is quickly becoming another part of Floyd County’s anticipated offerings of musical events and treasures.
While music flowed from the stage, vendors dished out barbeque, the new satellite location of The Floyd County Store served hot dogs, ice cream, hats and t-shirt and parts of the crowd visited arts and crafts booths and looked over antique and performance cars.
A busy time on a busy Memorial Day weekend.
With a ton of video captured during the event, we will be busy putting more together. Stay tuned.
