So, how much snow fell?

The National Weather Service Sunday issued its final tally of the weekend storm, listing amounts of snow that fell from the start on Friday through today.

  • Alum Ridge: 26 inches;
  • Floyd: 18.5 inches;
  • Copper Hill: 14.5 inches;
  • Willis: 13 inches
  • Union: 11.9 inches

We had one report from Indian Valley that measured 27 inches but the weather service apparently does not have an official weather station there.

Any way you measure it, it was a heck of a lot of snow.
