FCHS places third at cross country state meet

At the State Cross Country championships at Great Meadow in The Plains in Northern Virginia, both the boys and girls teams finished third, continuing a streak of finishing third or better in the event.

At the State Cross Country championships at Great Meadow in The Plains in Northern Virginia, both the boys and girls teams finished third, continuing a streak of finishing third or better in the event.

To answer questions on why I haven’t had any photos of the state race at this year, I was coming off a busy week and the media outlet that pays my bills decided to give me a rest.

  1. Both Floyd teams finished third. It was the third straight year that both teams have finished third or better.
