Losses mar winter homecoming

Kameron Harris scores for the JV Buffaloes.

Floyd County High School’s boys basketball Buffaloes celebrated winter homecoming and senior night Friday night with the regular season’s final home game but losses to Glenvar by both the varsity and junior varsity squads dampened the celebration.

Glenvar took early leads in both matches and never looked back.

In the varsity match, Dustin Thompson scored 16 points, including two three-point goals, but it wasn’t enough as Glenvar won 60-40.

Joshua Bary goes for the score.
Arlo Gilbert-Tanner drives for a score for the junior varsity Buffaloes.
