  1. …and I know I shouldn’t be commenting on your writing at a photography blog, but I must say today’s rant (07/01/05) is insightful, informative, and much appreciated–I write about diets and health in my blog and my “friends” in the field are constantly (from the way I see it, anyway) trying to corner me to find out which health-style I follow, be it low-carb, low calorie, low-fat or just “whatever-works-for-you,” so when I read your article today, it liberated me. Of course, those out there will never stop trying to box me in, either, but I think I’ll take a page (or a photo!) from you!

  2. Doug, you’re a hard man to reach. I so admire your Rants over on CHB, and love your Blue Muse website. It’s refreshing and the photography is gorgeous.

    Is there any way to get in touch with you for a small chat? I have an opinion on the London bombings I would like to run by you.

    We started to pay you a visit when we were on vacation in Virginia last year, but the deluge from Ivan ran us out of your State. 😉
