Out with the old…Thank God

For the most part, Amy and I will not be sad to see 2010 depart us.

This has been one hell of a year: my mother’s declining health, broken hip and eventual move to an assisted living facility; the discovery that I have been walking around for 35 years with a degenerating spinal cord that could leave me in a wheel chair in the rest of my lifeĀ  and a few other matters that were not in the game plan.

On the plus side, we begin the new year with hopes for new adventures. Amy and I extremely happy and looking forward to the remaining years of our lives.

We will welcome 2011 at home and I plan to sleep in on the first day of the new year.
