Temptation, temptation, temptation

Had all things been normal, I would have spent most of today astride my Harley Super Glide, enjoying the springlike weather that descended upon us here in early February.

Yeah, it could have been me but the time is not yet right

But all things are not normal. My therapist has not yet ruled my back and nerve damage healed enough for motorcycle riding and my bike is buried somewhere in the bowels of the shop of Roanoke Valley Harley-Davidson undergoing some warranty work. I told them to take their time because the decision on whether or not I can climb back on the bike will not come until April 1 at the earliest.

I had hoped to have the bike ready in time for a trip out of town but the trip is now scheduled for March so it will be in the Wrangler, not on the bike.

Do I have Spring fever? Damn right I do.
